Escopo Role: Senior IT Project Manager • Start Date: Immediate • Contract Duration: 1 year, with possibility of extension • Work Model: 100% Remote • Working Hours: U.S. business hours – EST time zone • Language: Fluent English is mandatory Position Overview We are looking for a Senior IT Project Manager with solid experience managing IT infrastructure projects, leading cross-functional teams without direct reporting lines, and overseeing financial management activities including budget planning, forecasting, and cost control. The professional should have strong experience managing risks, schedules, dependencies, vendors, and stakeholders. A consultative and strategic profile is essential, along with the ability to influence technical teams, suppliers, and executive leadership. The role also requires a solid understanding of IT infrastructure components and their lifecycle. Key Responsibilities • Plan and manage IT projects, ensuring effective control of scope, schedule, budget, risks, changes, resources, and dependencies. • Lead cross-functional teams without direct reporting relationships. • Manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost control activities. • Coordinate vendors and external partners involved in project delivery. • Establish and maintain project governance practices. • Identify, assess, monitor, and manage project risks. • Manage project changes and their impacts on scope, schedule, budget, and resources. • Ensure effective allocation and coordination of project resources. • Maintain clear communication with technical teams, business stakeholders, suppliers, and executive leadership. • Manage stakeholder expectations and project dependencies. • Support projects involving IT infrastructure, cloud services, cybersecurity, and technology transformation. Mandatory Requirements • Experience with project management methodologies. • Experience leading cross-functional teams. • Experience with budget management and forecasting. • Experience with vendor management. • Hands-on experience with project planning, scope management, schedule management, budgeting, risk management, change management, resource allocation, governance, executive communication, and stakeholder management. • Intermediate-level experience with Smartsheet. • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. • Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint skills. • Familiarity with ITSM/ITIL. • Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning. • Familiarity with Cloud Services. • Familiarity with SDx. • Familiarity with Cyber Security. • Knowledge of IT infrastructure components including servers, storage, networks, network equipment, operating systems, enterprise applications, data centers, cloud computing, security tools, and data management. • Understanding of the IT infrastructure lifecycle, including planning, acquisition/procurement, implementation, asset management, monitoring, maintenance, and decommissioning. • Experience or knowledge of environments involving Oracle EBS, Salesforce, Rental Man, Vertex, Azure, Citrix, Databricks, and OneID. • Fluent English. Preferred Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. • Experience working in large corporate environments. • Experience with projects involving IT infrastructure, cloud, security, and technology transformation. Preferred Certifications • CAPM certification is considered a plus. • Certifications such as PMP, PMI-ACP, Scrum Master, and ITIL are also valued.
