Escopo Role: Senior IT Project Manager - Finance • Start Date: Immediate • Contract Duration: 1 year, with possibility of extension • Work Model: 100% Remote • Working Hours: 9h00 to 18h00 • Language: Fluent English is mandatory About the Position We are looking for a Senior IT Finance Project Manager to lead strategic projects at the intersection of Technology and Finance. This position will be responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring delivery within the established timelines, budget, and scope, while promoting alignment among stakeholders from different areas. Key Responsibilities • Manage 3 to 5 projects simultaneously, from planning through implementation. • Develop and monitor project schedules, resource plans, budgets, and performance indicators. • Lead cross-functional teams, coordinating internal resources and external vendors. • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks, implementing contingency plans when necessary. • Ensure effective communication of project status, risks, and financial impacts to stakeholders and executive leadership. • Manage changes in scope, priorities, and dependencies across projects. • Support vendor selection and management processes, including RFI and RFP. • Promote project management best practices, continuous improvement, and the sharing of lessons learned. • Act as a strategic partner to Finance, IT, and Business areas to enable digital transformation initiatives. Mandatory Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields. • Solid experience in IT project management, preferably with a focus on Finance. • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously with complex dependencies. • In-depth knowledge of financial processes, corporate systems, and regulatory requirements. • Experience in budget management, forecasting, and return on investment analysis (ROI). • Strong leadership and influencing skills, even without direct team management responsibilities. • Experience managing stakeholders across different organizational levels. • Experience in vendor and contract management. • Excellent communication and presentation skills for executive leadership. • Ability to work independently, make decisions, and manage escalations appropriately. Desirable Requirements • CAPM, PMP, or equivalent certification. • Experience leading large-scale finance transformation projects. • Hands-on experience with Oracle EBS (Financials and Procurement), SAP, Workday, or other financial ERPs. • Experience working in regulated environments, including SOX, GDPR, or similar regulations. • Experience in organizational change management and the implementation of new technologies. • Proven track record of process improvements and lessons-learned programs.
