Summary We are looking for a highly skilled and energetic person to help improve and support our revolutionary robotic and vision-based systems for agriculture. You will be joining a world-class research and engineering team to provide critical skills in improving existing systems and pushing the boundaries of our technology. Job Responsibilities The main job responsibilities include: Research and develop image-processing and computer-vision algorithms for 2D and 3D scene segmentation. Develop effective experiments and methods to detect and characterize model performance issues in long-tail conditions. Exploring Deep Learning models and/or frameworks to push the performance frontiers of our current system, including exploring methods in the active learning space. Required Experience and Skills Enrollment in or completion of a degree program in Computer Science or a related field. Experience working with machine learning systems, with particular emphasis on computer vision and deep learning. Experience with Python and deep-learning frameworks like PyTorch. Attention to detail and ability to work independently. A positive attitude and willingness to take on a variety of tasks as necessary. Preferred Experience and Skills Enrollment in or completion of an advanced degree, e.g., M.S., Ph.D. in CS. Advanced proficiency in Python, PyTorch, or related libraries. Experience in geometric/classical computer vision and image processing. This role is expected to pay $45–$60 per hour (40 hrs/wk), depending on experience and duration (approximately 3-4 months total).
