3D CAD Designer (AI & generative workflows)

Role overview

We are an ambitious spatial-tech startup transforming event design through generative technology. As we finalise our current investment round, we are seeking a forward-thinking 3D CAD Designer with deep AI integration experience to join our core team upon funding completion.

Reporting directly to our CTO & Co-Founder, you will sit at the intersection of spatial design and advanced software workflows. You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and continually refining our proprietary AI booth design generation engine.

Key responsibilities

• Workflow engineering: Build, optimise, and maintain automated design pipelines that blend traditional 3D CAD modelling with generative AI outputs.
• Asset creation & system integration: Develop and structure high-quality 3D assets, parametric templates, and environments optimised for generative spatial workflows.
• Service quality & maintenance: Test, troubleshoot, and iteratively improve design outputs to ensure technical accuracy, aesthetic consistency, and structural feasibility.
• Cross-functional support: Work directly alongside the CTO to execute product roadmaps and refine automated generation performance.
• Collaboration & travel: Participate in remote daily operations, with occasional national and international travel for team workshops, client syncs, and industry events.

Candidate qualifications

• ComfyUI mastery: Hands-on experience with ComfyUI node environments, pipeline architecture, and custom node implementation is strongly desired.
• 3D CAD expertise: Advanced proficiency in modern 3D modelling and CAD software (e.g. SketchUp, Rhino, Blender, SolidWorks, 3ds Max, etc) focused on spatial or structural design.
• Exhibition industry background: Prior experience in trade show, exhibition stand, or modular event design is highly preferred (though open to exceptional spatial design talent from related fields).
• Location: Must be based in the UK or Europe with a functional remote setup and eligibility to work in your resident country.
• Startup mindset: Self-motivated, comfortable with ambiguity, and excited by fast-paced technical experimentation.
