As a 3D Character Artist, you will play a crucial role in bringing our characters to life, contributing to an immersive experience that resonates with our customers. In this position, you will engage in exciting projects, collaborating with designers and animators to create stunning character models that enhance our brand's storytelling. Your creative input will be invaluable in delivering unique and captivating characters that support our strategic goals. We offer a competitive salary range of $112,000 - $180,000 annually, along with opportunities for professional development and growth within a supportive environment. Responsibilities Create high-quality 3D models for characters based on project requirements Collaborate with the design team to conceptualize character designs Implement textures and materials to enhance character realism Optimize character models for animation and game engines Participate in feedback sessions to improve character designs Research and analyze trends in character design within the retail industry Assist in polishing characters to meet project milestones Stay updated with industry tools and techniques to enhance your skill set Requirements Experience with 3D modeling software (e.g., Blender, Maya, ZBrush) Strong portfolio showcasing character art and creativity Solid understanding of anatomy and character design principles Basic knowledge of texturing and materials application Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment Effective communication skills to articulate ideas and feedback Passion for the retail industry and character-driven narratives Willingness to learn and grow as a 3D artist
