The Sr IT Analyst for the ADMS/OMS (Outage Management System) and DORT (Distribution Outage Request Tool) Product Team supports and enhances PSE&G’s Electra ADMS/OMS desktop, web, mobile platforms and other tools used across Electric Distribution. This role is responsible for gathering and documenting requirements, configuring system functionality across environments, executing and coordinating testing, troubleshooting/triaging incidents, managing user access, and developing subject matter expertise in ADMS/OMS and DORT capabilities to improve integration and user experience. The Sr IT Analyst collaborates closely with Electric Operations, IT Utility Operations, SAP, MuleSoft, Kubra, Grid Platform Management, Electric Operations OMS Leads, and the ADMS vendor Aspentech DGM. This role requires strong understanding of business processes and system functionality, with a focus on driving product improvements, supporting strategic initiatives, and ensuring high quality solution delivery. Key responsibilities include analyzing data, identifying gaps, recommending enhancements, and partnering with product owners and business stakeholders to prioritize and implement work. Duties may evolve as organizational needs, technologies, and strategic priorities change. Job Responsibilities Support ADMS/OMS Technology, Product Owners, SMEs, business stakeholders, and cross-functional IT teams in planning and executing product roadmaps, defining business/system requirements, and aligning initiatives with strategic goals and operational needs. Analyze system problems, identify gaps, define future state solutions, and support Electric Operations with enhancements, process improvements, and user experience improvements. Become a subject matter expert in OMS, Compass (OMS Mobile App) and DORT to strengthen system integration, operational support, and customer outcomes. Troubleshoot and Manage incidents using ServiceNow; perform system configuration (no coding required); and lead weekly configuration deployments into Production. Work directly with the OMS software vendors and Integration software Teams to resolve issues and support biannual system code patches. Administer user accounts, including account creation, password resets, and access management. Certify iOS updates for compatibility with the Compass mobile application. Provide reliable and dependable weekly scheduled on call support and scheduled Division visits to meet with our end-users and discuss system functionality and possible enhancement opportunities. Conduct data analysis, develop reporting, and recommend business-process or product improvements (Scripting using SQL/Python knowledge is a plus). Lead QA activities including test plan development, requirement validation, deliverable verification, and incident resolution; support performance testing. Build and maintain strong partnerships across ADMS and IT Utility Operations to ensure alignment, transparency, communication, and effective problem-solving. Adapt to changing strategic priorities, technologies, and operational needs; knowledge and experience with AI tools, is a plus. Job Specific Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Math or a related technical field plus 4+ years business or related fields analysis experience, including 2+ years proven experience working with project teams to determine implementation strategy; without a Bachelor’s degree, a minimum of 8 years’ experience Understanding of and experience in IT project management methodologies, requirements management, quality assurance and IT processes Broad knowledge of the business area's functions and applications, and of system and technology alternatives Ability to work independently on technical issues by utilizing knowledge of business analysis Ability to work and communicate with a wide range of people – peers, vendors, staff members, and leaders Ability to proactively communicate technical topics in a clear, succinct, and relevant way Demonstrated ability to perform assigned work proficiently Compliance with the Department of Energy's regulation 10 CFR 810 is required Desired Experience with mission critical technology solutions Experience with working in regulatory and/ or compliance environments Familiarity with systems administration, asset & application patching, and lifecycle management Some positions at PSEG require access to information covered by the Department of Energy’s regulation 10 CFR 810 (Part 810).
