The Resourcing Team plays a vital role in shaping the workforce of Social Security Scotland. We lead the recruitment of staff across the organisation, ensuring we have the right people in place to deliver the benefits and services promised to the people of Scotland. We are seeking a motivated Resourcing Support team member to deliver a professional and positive recruitment experience. In this role you will be a key point of contact for candidates and colleagues, supporting them throughout the recruitment process. Your responsibilities will include a wide range of recruitment based administrative tasks for both individual and large-scale recruitment campaigns. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, where adaptability and attention to detail are essential. Based in the Strategic Resourcing team within the People and Place division, your work will focus on delivering recruitment in line with legislation, organisational policies, service level agreements and the Civil Service Commission Recruitment Principles. It is important that our recruitment reflects our Corporate Values of ‘Dignity, Fairness and Respect’. This is an interesting and varied role where every day brings new opportunities for growth and development. Responsibilities Provide administrative support for all recruitment activities across various systems, including drafting and publishing adverts, issuing application and interview results. Work within a fast-paced team to complete tasks with attention to detail to provide the best service possible. Respond to emails and queries from internal and external stakeholders. Support the Candidate Helpline rota, covering 9 am starts and 5 pm finishes on a rotational basis. Maintain correct and up-to-date information, following data protection guidance and handling sensitive and personal information in line with confidentiality rules. Maintaining Microsoft Excel spreadsheets ensuring recruitment information is accurate. Work as part of a team to resolve or escalate queries, sharing information and contributing ideas and views to improve performance. Be accountable for ensuring the case work allocated to you is completed on time and accurately. Support Team Manager and other Resourcing team members in carrying out daily work activities when new projects arise. Success Profile We use an assessment framework called ‘Success Profiles’ which lists the elements we test and provides detailed descriptions of each.
