ABAP Developer

Role Description As an ABAP Developer at SystemFox Consulting, you will design, develop, and maintain SAP applications using ABAP and related technologies. Day-to-day work includes implementing and enhancing custom programs, reports, interfaces, forms, and BAPIs, as well as troubleshooting and optimizing existing code. You will collaborate with SAP consultants, functional experts, and clients to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions, perform unit and integration testing, and ensure adherence to development standards. This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Budapest, where you will spend part of your time in the office for collaboration and part working from home for focused development tasks.

Qualifications

• Strong programming foundation, with experience in Software Development and structured Programming practices.
• Hands-on SAP Development experience, including Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP) and BAPI integration.
• Understanding of SAP modules and business processes, with the ability to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Experience with performance optimization, debugging, and testing of SAP custom developments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to work in a hybrid setup in Budapest, communicate clearly in English, and collaborate effectively in international project teams.
• Familiarity with modern SAP technologies (e.g., Adobe Forms, SAP S/4HANA, CDS views, SAPUI5/Fiori) is an advantage.
• Proactive problem-solving skills, commitment to quality, and willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new SAP features and tools.
• FLUENT HUNGARIAN IS A MUST!
