General Role Description Bridgeway Academy is seeking a student focused Academic Advisor to support families through a personalized learning experience. The Advisor builds strong relationships, guides course planning, and ensures each student thrives academically and personally. Key Responsibilities Support onboarding and provide ongoing advising to students and families. Build trusted relationships and guide individualized course planning and goal setting. Maintain communication, record-keeping, and exemplary service aligned with Bridgeway’s Standards of Excellence. Partner with caregivers as co-educators and contribute to enrollment and community engagement. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including NCAA and accreditation standards. Requirements 1+ year in academic advising, homeschool support, educational counseling, or related fields. Required clearances: FBI, Child Abuse, and State. Online learning experience preferred. You must reside in one of the following states: Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, Virginia, West Virginia, Virginia. Skills Strong communication, organization, and time management skills. Ability to build rapport with families from diverse backgrounds. Critical thinking, adaptability, attention to detail, and independent work style. Comfort with management systems, LMS platforms, digital tools, and record-keeping.
