Academic Events Manager - Base44

As an Academic Events Manager, you'll own the end-to-end execution of a high-volume events program that puts Base44 in front of students, builders, and communities across the United States. You'll leverage your expertise in event coordination and field operations to deliver measurable results and build Base44's presence at hackathons, on local campuses, at conferences, in faculty circles, and in partnership educational nonprofits. You are someone who thrives in an ownership role, planning and executing world class experiences for users both in person and remotely. In your day-to-day, you will: Book and manage weekly events per quarter across universities, VC accelerators, NGOs, and community spaces across the US Own all logistical details: from agenda setting, to merch and content creation Use AI tools to streamline coordination, and maximize event efficiency Be on the ground at events, ensuring smooth execution and troubleshooting in real time Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, sales, community, and enterprise teams to align on event goals and ensure strong partner handoffs Build and maintain relationships with university partners, event hosts, and community organizers Track event performance and provide detailed reports on results and impact Note: We are seeking NY-based candidates who are able and willing to work on-site three days per week. 3–5 years of experience in events, field marketing, or a related role. We run high-energy events, forge partnerships with universities and organizations, and evangelize the power of AI-powered building to the next generation of creators. We move fast, aim big, and believe the best builders get their start when they have the right tools and the right community around them. *** The approximate base compensation is $105,000 to $125,000. In addition to base pay you will receive company RSUs as part of the compensation package. The final offer may vary and will be determined by various factors including location the role is expected to be performed, shift, candidate profile and ideal qualifications.
