Account Executive

About the Role This is a pivotal sales role on a growing go-to-market team at an early-stage marketplace startup serving the specialized vehicle and emergency equipment sector. You'll own the full sales cycle and play a direct role in driving revenue and expanding the company's footprint with public-sector and commercial customers. What You'll Do Take end-to-end ownership of the sales cycle — from sourcing and discovery through to closing new logos. Balance a roughly even split of inbound and outbound sales motions to build and maintain your own pipeline. Travel regularly to meet customers in person, including fleet managers, fire chiefs, and other public-sector buyers. Represent the company at industry conferences and customer-facing events. Manage your book of business with a disciplined, organized approach using CRM tools. What We're Looking For 3+ years of experience in Account Executive or full-cycle sales roles, including outbound prospecting and deal closing. Prior experience at an early-stage, venture-backed startup. Comfort balancing inbound and outbound sales motions simultaneously. Proficiency with CRM platforms to manage pipeline and customer relationships. Willingness and ability to travel regularly to meet customers in person. Strong relationship-building skills with non-technical buyers. Competitive drive with a collaborative, low-ego approach to working with teammates and customers. Bonus: Experience selling into government municipalities or public-sector organizations (e.g., fire departments, EMS). Bonus: Based in or near the Midwest, US South, West Coast, or Southeast. Compensation & Benefits Base salary range: $93,000 – $118,000 USD annually. No visa sponsorship available. Location Fully remote (United States). Primary hiring focus on Los Angeles, CA, though candidates based elsewhere in the US are welcome to apply.
