Your Impact In this dynamic role, you will bring a highly motivated and entrepreneurial spirit to drive sales in the cybersecurity sector. Your primary objective will be to enhance security resilience for our customers and communities, specifically calling on the largest Service Providers in Canada. As a proactive self-starter with a driven edge, you'll excel in building strong executive and internal relationships through strategic vision and accountability. You will actively seek opportunities to showcase Cisco's comprehensive security portfolio and cross-sell our solutions, enhancing security value for our audience. Develop and lead security account plans and strategies for each assigned region and its accounts, using all available resources (executive sponsors, marketing, technical, services, Cisco on Cisco, etc.). Drive double-digit revenue growth by identifying new projects, creating opportunities, and securing business attachments. Accurately forecast and report activities in line with expectations using Salesforce.com. Identify major projects within large accounts and lead initiatives to improve product and services revenue across the account base. Provide customers and partners with appropriate pricing and configurations tailored to their needs. Minimum Qualifications Minimum of 5+ years of overall sales experience, with at least 2-3+ years specialized in selling security solutions. Experience selling network security solutions (e.g., Intrusion Detection, Firewall, VPN) or SaaS security offerings. Experience with direct touch sales within a matrixed organization, collaborating to improve results. Preferred Qualifications Experience managing large deals and implementing account and partner plans across geographic territories. Experience building and implementing an account plan that incorporates a total systems-based security approach. History of exceeding sales targets, driven by hunting and developing new business accounts. Ability to address a predominantly technical audience with extensive knowledge of the Security Market. Forecasting capability centered around core territory. Interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills to both in-person and virtual audiences. Experience in applying solution-selling methodologies to drive corporate revenue growth, with a history of closing both tactical and strategic opportunities. Experience with MEDDPICC is a plus. Élaborer et diriger des plans de comptes et des stratégies de sécurité pour chaque région assignée et ses comptes, en tirant parti de l’ensemble des ressources disponibles (cadres responsables, marketing, équipes techniques, services, Cisco on Cisco, etc.). Stimuler une croissance des revenus à deux chiffres en identifiant de nouveaux projets, en créant des occasions et en sécurisant les activités commerciales connexes. Prévoir et rendre compte avec précision des activités conformément aux attentes à l’aide de Salesforce.com. Qualifications minimales Au moins 5 ans d’expérience globale en vente, dont au moins 2 à 3 ans spécialisés dans la vente de solutions de sécurité. Expérience dans la vente de solutions de sécurité réseau (p. ex., détection des intrusions, pare-feu, RPV) ou d’offres de sécurité sous forme de SaaS. Expérience en vente directe dans une organisation matricielle, en collaboration avec divers intervenants pour améliorer les résultats. Qualifications privilégiées Expérience dans la gestion de transactions de grande envergure et dans la mise en œuvre de plans de comptes et de partenaires sur différents territoires géographiques. Expérience dans l’élaboration et la mise en œuvre d’un plan de compte intégrant une approche de sécurité globale basée sur les systèmes. Historique de dépassement des objectifs de vente, porté par la prospection et le développement de nouveaux comptes. Capacité à s’adresser principalement à un public technique, avec une connaissance approfondie du marché de la sécurité. Capacité de prévision axée sur le territoire principal. Message to applicants applying to work in the U.S. and/or Canada: The starting salary range posted for this position is $239,900.00 to $308,500.00 and reflects the projected salary range for new hires in this position in U.S. and/or Canada locations, not including incentive compensation*, equity, or benefits. Individual pay is determined by the candidate's hiring location, market conditions, job-related skillset, experience, qualifications, education, certifications, and/or training. U.S. employees are offered benefits, subject to Cisco’s plan eligibility rules, which include medical, dental and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with a Cisco matching contribution, paid parental leave, short and long-term disability coverage, and basic life insurance. Employees may be eligible to receive grants of Cisco restricted stock units, which vest following continued employment with Cisco for defined periods of time. Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components, subject to the applicable Cisco plan. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco typically pays as follows: .75% of incentive target for each 1% of revenue attainment up to 50% of quota; 1.5% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 50% and 75%; 1% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 75% and 100%; and Once performance exceeds 100% attainment, incentive rates are at or above 1% for each 1% of attainment with no cap on incentive compensation. For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay 0% up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid. The applicable full salary ranges for this position, by specific state, are listed below: New York City Metro Area: $262,300.00 - $392,600.00 Non-Metro New York state & Washington state: $244,400.00 - $374,700.00 * For quota-based sales roles on Cisco’s sales plan, the ranges provided in this posting include base pay and sales target incentive compensation combined. ** Employees in Illinois, whether exempt or non-exempt, will participate in a unique time off program to meet local requirements.
