Account Executive, Australia & New Zealand
Australian hospitality is shifting towards activity-led venues. Bowling, mini golf, darts, private karaoke rooms: operators are turning floor space into something for guests to do, because customers are drinking less and every square metre has to earn its keep.
Karaoke is one of the strongest options in that shift. It is among the most food and drink led activities an operator can add, it brings in a broader crowd than most, and a well-run room gets booked out. What most venues are still running it on is software and hardware from another era.
Singa is looking for an Account Executive to grow our business across Australia and New Zealand.
You will inherit a strong existing customer base, manage and expand some of our most important accounts in the region, and increasingly spend your time winning new venues and hospitality groups.
This is our first commercial hire on the ground in the region. If you are commercially driven, comfortable in a venue as well as on a sales call, and want a role with plenty of room to grow, we would like to hear from you.

About the Role
Location: Australia. Sydney or Melbourne preferred. Remote, with regular travel to customers.
Team: B2B Sales
Reports to: Global Team Lead, B2B
You will own a commercial territory across Australia and New Zealand, with two main priorities: winning new business and growing a focused portfolio of key accounts.
The role begins with our existing customers. That gives you the fastest way to understand how karaoke performs in the market, what our strongest venues look like and why customers choose Singa.
As you ramp up, the balance shifts increasingly towards new business.
You will have support around you. Outbound campaigns and sales sequences are built and run centrally, inbound demand is routed through an existing process, and our Customer Success team supports onboarding and ongoing customer success.
Your job is to turn that support into local commercial results.
You will also be close enough to the market to help us get better at selling into it: which venue types are worth targeting, what operators respond to, which objections keep appearing and what customers are asking for.
Direct outreach remains part of the role, but it is targeted rather than volume-driven. When there is a hospitality group, entertainment operator or venue worth having, you will often be the person starting the conversation.
How the role builds
Months 1–2: Learn the market through the accounts we already have
Months 2–4: Take commercial ownership
Months 4–6 and beyond: Shift towards new business
What the work actually looks like
The account base in Australia and New Zealand looks like most hospitality markets: a relatively small number of larger groups where one commercial decision can influence several venues, and a long tail of independents. The larger groups are where most of your account management work is. Smaller venues are primarily served through our self-service products and support team, so you will not spend your week managing a long queue of small customer requests.
Once ramped, a realistic week might include two or three days focused on new business conversations and customer visits, one to two days working with existing key accounts and expansion opportunities, and the remaining time on sales handovers, events, partners and collaboration with the global team.
Travel is a genuine part of the role. Venues buy karaoke from people who have stood in their room, heard how it sounds and understand how the concept works operationally.
There is also a physical side to karaoke. We sell software, but a karaoke room often includes screens, speakers, microphones, mixers and sometimes acoustic or installation work. In our more established markets, local AV partners handle much of this. Australia and New Zealand are still developing that network, so you will help us identify strong local installers and integrators who can support customers in the region.
You will work with colleagues across Europe, so there will occasionally be early or late calls, balanced by a high degree of autonomy over how you organize your schedule locally.
