In this role, your tasks will include managing and developing a portfolio of key customer accounts, ensuring long-term partnerships and customer satisfaction. You will build strong, trust-based relationships across different stakeholder levels, from technical experts to leadership and procurement, and proactively identify customer needs and opportunities. You will develop and execute account strategies to drive growth and meet revenue targets, while collaborating closely with internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions. In addition, you will monitor market trends and customer environments to identify new business opportunities, while providing regular updates and forecasts to internal stakeholders. We are looking for a commercially driven and curious professional with at least 10 years of experience in account management within the field of technical sales. You bring experience from high-tech or industrial environments and are comfortable working with complex stakeholder landscapes and influencing decision-making at multiple levels. You combine strong communication and collaboration skills with a results-oriented mindset and a proven track record of achieving ambitious targets. You are proactive in understanding customer needs and are not afraid to dig deeper to identify opportunities. We also appreciate relevant technical or scientific expertise, which enables you to quickly grasp the complex environments of our customers and engage in meaningful discussions with technical stakeholders. You are a team player who balances the needs of customers and internal stakeholders and contributes to strengthening collaboration within the team. Main responsibilities: Manage and develop a portfolio of key customer accounts Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships across multiple stakeholder levels Develop and execute account strategies to drive growth and meet ambitious revenue targets Contribute to strengthening account management practices and commercial capabilities within the team Identify customer needs and proactively uncover new business opportunities Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders across sales, engineering, and other functions to deliver high-quality customer solutions Prepare forecasts, reports, and account updates for internal stakeholders Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities and risks What we expect from you Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Engineering, Technology) 10+ years of experience in account management within the field of technical sales Experience from high-tech, industrial environments Experience working with complex stakeholder landscapes and influencing decision-making at multiple levels Proven track record of achieving ambitious targets and closing deals Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills Proactive approach to understanding customer needs and identifying opportunities Fluency in English and French, both written and spoken We also appreciate Relevant technical or scientific expertise Positive, hands-on, and solution-oriented approach Familiarity with Salesforce Willingness to be based in Munich and work closely with the local team German and other language skills are considered an advantage Please apply as soon as possible, on July 31st, at the latest, through our recruitment system at BLUEFORS.COM .
