Account Manager, Growth Accounts Home of the cool-headed and warm-hearted. Apply now! We are looking for an Account Manager, Growth Accounts to join our growing sales team at Bluefors. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and expanding relationships with a portfolio of high-potential growth accounts across the United States and Canada. You will work with some of the most innovative organizations in quantum technology and other advanced industries, helping customers solve complex challenges with industry-leading cryogenic solutions. Your responsibilities will include managing the complete sales process for a portfolio of growth accounts, from identifying customer needs and developing account strategies to executing opportunities and closing sales. You will build strong, long-lasting relationships with customers while collaborating closely with internal sales, engineering, and technical teams to deliver exceptional customer support and service. You will develop strategic account plans designed to grow high-potential customers into long-term strategic partnerships while meeting revenue objectives. In addition, you will monitor industry trends and competitor activity, forecast account performance, prepare reports for internal stakeholders, respond to customer inquiries, resolve issues professionally, and identify new business opportunities that support continued growth. We are looking for a candidate with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Technology, or a related field, along with at least 10 years of experience in strategic sales or key account management within an international environment. The ideal candidate will have experience managing large enterprise accounts and selling complex technical products or solutions to technical buyers. You should possess exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills, along with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. A proven track record of developing and executing account strategies that grow customer relationships while consistently meeting or exceeding revenue targets is essential. You should also be self-motivated, highly organized, willing to travel, and fluent in English, both written and spoken. We also appreciate candidates with experience in quantum technology, high-tech manufacturing, or other technically advanced industries. Familiarity with Salesforce, a positive and hands-on approach, and the ability to work independently while collaborating across global teams will help you stand out. Our office is in Brooklyn NY, but for this position we’re looking for remote employee to work with our US and Canadian customers. You can be based in state of California, Washington, New York, Maryland, Virginia or North Carolina. Salary Range: $120,000 – $150,000 annually, plus bonus Main Responsibilities include the following: Drive sales growth within a portfolio of assigned growth accounts across the U.S. and Canada Develop and execute strategic account plans to grow customer relationships into long-term partnerships Own the full sales cycle from opportunity identification through proposal development and closing Build and maintain strong customer relationships while ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction Collaborate with internal sales, engineering, and technical teams to deliver customer solutions Identify customer needs and align Bluefors solutions to meet business objectives Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activity to identify new opportunities Forecast sales performance and maintain accurate account metrics Prepare and present account reviews and performance updates to customers and internal stakeholders Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner Meet or exceed assigned sales and revenue objectives Travel as required to support customer relationships and business development Perform additional duties as assigned What We Expect from You Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Technology, or a related field Minimum of 10 years of experience in strategic sales and key account management Experience managing and growing large enterprise accounts in an international environment Background selling complex technical products or services to technical buyers Strong understanding of high-technology products and solution-based sales Proven success developing strategic account plans and achieving revenue growth Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Highly organized with excellent time management skills Ability to work independently while collaborating across cross-functional teams Goal-oriented with a demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding sales targets Willingness to travel as required Excellent command of English, both written and spoken We Also Appreciate Experience in quantum technology or quantum computing industries Experience within high-tech manufacturing or scientific instrumentation Familiarity with Salesforce CRM Positive, hands-on, customer-focused attitude Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving organization Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills Adaptability and willingness to embrace continuous improvement Collaborative mindset with strong alignment to Bluefors values of innovation, teamwork, diversity, and organizational effectiveness Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, use a computer, communicate verbally and in writing, and occasionally travel to customer sites, conferences, and company locations. The employee may occasionally lift or move materials weighing up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision and the ability to adjust focus for prolonged computer use. Work Environment This position is primarily remote and requires frequent collaboration with customers and internal teams across multiple locations and time zones. Regular travel throughout the United States and Canada is expected to support customer meetings, industry events, and business development activities.
