At kp, we are currently seeking 2 Account Managers for our Medical Device Products who will be responsible for driving profitable growth within the assigned territory by identifying and converting new business opportunities, accelerating market penetration, and expanding existing customer relationships. These roles serve as the primary commercial representative of kp, developing strategic customer partnerships while delivering sustainable revenue growth and market share gains. The job holder can be based remotely in European countries where we have a legal entity, e.g. in Germany, UK, France, Italy, Spain or Netherlands,... Tasks and Responsibilities: Drive profitable growth within the assigned territory through customer acquisition, account expansion and market penetration. Develop and execute a territory growth strategy aligned with business objectives and sales targets. Manage and strengthen relationships with existing customers while identifying and securing new business opportunities. Identify, target and acquire new customers to increase market share and expand kp's presence within the Medical Device segment. Build strong relationships across multiple customer functions, including Purchasing, Supply Chain, Quality, Operations, Engineering, Marketing and Business Development. Develop a deep understanding of customer strategies, business drivers, market dynamics and growth initiatives to identify opportunities for value creation. Continuously analyze market trends, competitive activities and customer needs to uncover growth opportunities and support strategic decision-making. Build, maintain and convert a robust pipeline of projects and commercial opportunities, ensuring accurate and timely CRM management. Drive account penetration and increase wallet share by identifying new applications, products and services that create customer value. Develop a strong understanding of Medical Device market requirements, product portfolios, manufacturing processes and regulatory expectations relevant to kp's value proposition. Manage the assigned customer portfolio with accountability for revenue, profitability, growth and customer retention. Collaborate closely with internal functions including Operations, Product Management, Quality and Customer Service to ensure successful customer outcomes. Manage pricing and commercial negotiations in line with company profitability objectives and supported by Finance/Pricing Team. Represent kp at customer meetings, industry events and trade shows to strengthen market presence and generate new business opportunities. Travel as required within the territory and internationally to support customer development, business growth and strategic initiatives. Education / Experience: Commercial or technical studies/education with min. experience of 4 – 8 years in sales of highly sophiscated products, preferably in Medical Device industry. Functional & Technical Skills / Knowledge: Proven experience in B2B sales, account management and business development, preferably within Medical Device markets. Demonstrated ability to drive territory growth through customer acquisition, account expansion and opportunity development. Strong commercial and negotiation skills with a solid understanding of profitability and value-based selling. Ability to build and manage a robust sales pipeline using a structured sales approach and CRM tools. Understanding of Medical Device market requirements and regulatory environments; knowledge of polymers and converting technologies is advantageous. Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills. Proficiency in MS Office, Salesforce.com and SAP is an advantage. Excellent English skills; additional languages are a plus.
