ABOUT THIS ROLE Orchestra is seeking an Account Supervisor, Financial and Corporate Communications to support and help grow a dynamic portfolio of financial clients. This role will work closely with senior leadership to manage day-to-day client communications programs, support high-level strategy and drive impactful media relations campaigns across the financial sector. This is an opportunity for a strong communicator with financial services experience, including alternative asset management, investment firms and/or financial institutions, family offices and fintech to work with innovative clients and contribute to a growing, collaborative team. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, skilled media operator and proactive client and team manager who thrives in a fast-paced agency environment and is eager to help build integrated communications programs that deliver measurable results. Role location: This role is based in our New York, N.Y. office on a hybrid basis. The team is in-office at least 3 days per week. ACCOUNTABILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS As an Account Supervisor, Financial and Corporate Communications, you will… Support and execute integrated communications programs and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams for earned, owned, paid and social channels Serve as a day-to-day client lead, helping manage financial communications accounts and ensuring work is delivered strategically, on time and with excellence Build and maintain strong media relationships across financial, business and trade press as well as emerging and new media Lead media strategy development and execution, including proactive storytelling, executive visibility, thought leadership, and crisis and risk management support Oversee account workflows and team operations, ensuring projects move efficiently Mentor and manage junior team members, fostering collaboration, professional development and a positive team culture grounded in diversity, equity and inclusion Partner with senior leadership to identify opportunities for organic client growth and support new business initiatives and pitches Stay informed on financial services, private equity, hedge funds, insurers, family offices, investor relations and broader industry trends to help shape strategic recommendations for clients Analyze campaign performance and media results, helping identify insights and optimize communications strategies based on client objectives Contribute strong strategic thinking, writing and communications counsel across client programs, executive communications and media engagement efforts Essential skills: 5–7+ years of relevant communications experience, preferably within an agency environment, with experience supporting financial services, private equity, hedge funds, insurance, family offices, investor relations and/or asset management clients Strong client management skills with experience leading day-to-day communications programs and building trusted client relationships Demonstrated success developing and executing media relations campaigns, including securing top-tier business, finance-related media and emerging media Experience managing account teams and mentoring junior staff while fostering collaboration and accountability Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex topics clearly and effectively Strong organizational and project management abilities, with experience balancing multiple clients and priorities in a fast-paced environment Strategic thinker with sound judgment, attention to detail and the ability to spot industry trends and anticipate client needs Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across teams and disciplines Understanding of integrated communications strategies and familiarity with digital, social and paid media approaches Interest in and curiosity for financial communications and staying current on market, media and industry developments Existing contacts and relationships in the industry WORKING AT ORCHESTRA Salary range (commensurate with experience and skills): $85,000-$115,000 #LI-BM1 #LI-Hybrid Orchestra is the first communications company built for today’s media landscape.
