Accountant Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CPA) with 2+ years' experience? Join a fully remote Malta Finance team to drive accurate reporting, strong controls, and growth. Our client is seeking a qualified Accountant to join its Finance team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated finance professional to contribute to the company's financial reporting, compliance, and day-to-day accounting operations while supporting the continued growth of the business. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining robust financial controls, and supporting budgeting and audit activities. Key Responsibilities Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports. Perform bank, balance sheet, and general ledger reconciliations. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. Support external audits and regulatory reporting requirements. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities. Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and internal controls. Support the wider Finance team with day-to-day accounting operations. Requirements Fully qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, CPA, or equivalent), or currently in the final stages of qualification. Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Excellent analytical, organisational, and problem-solving abilities. Experience within the cryptocurrency industry will be considered an advantage.
