Accountant

Our client is a Fortune 500 financial and payments technology company and leads the industry in innovation, scale, and service. They are now looking to add to their team and are looking to hire a " Accountant ”. This can be hybrid High-Level Overview Accounting experience is highly preferred Responsibilities may include cleaning up accounts and tracking transactions Strong understanding of accounting principles is important Familiarity with assets, P\&L, and balance sheets Ability to research discrepancies and follow data trails with strong intuition Accounting degree required; CPA preferred Flexible on type of experience Targeting candidates with approximately 3–4 years of experience Roles and responsibilities Develops, implements, and/or maintains one or more accounting systems: Journal entries, General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, etc. Monitors and develops monthly reports of revenues and expenditures for projects. Provides a record of assets, liabilities, and other financial transactions. Reviews, tracks, and maintains asset information in the financial systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with US GAAP and other accounting regulations. Skills: Oracle Fusion Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, CPA and/or Master's Level degree preferred 3-4 years of relevant experience in General Accounting; Capital and Fixed Asset experience preferred Flexible work from home options available.
