We are currently looking for an Accountant who will be integral to driving high-level performance across Lovehoney Group. Partnering directly with the Accounting Manager and the finance team, your focus will be on operational accounting and the accurate and timely delivery of month-end and year-end closing activities. In this role, you will combine your appreciation for accuracy and financial compliance with your capacity for creative problem-solving and process improvement. You will develop skills crucial to advancing in a competitive, fast-paced retail sector, all within a company that prizes dedication and results. What you will do Take an active role in day-to-day accounting operations for assigned EMEA entities Prepare general ledger entries, accruals and account reconciliations Support and perform month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities Ensure accurate financial records and resolve accounting discrepancies with relevant stakeholders Improve, standardise and automate accounting processes, including the use of AI-supported solutions What you should bring A relevant accounting qualification, such as Tax Clerk, or a comparable Finance qualification Practical operational accounting experience and sound knowledge of German GAAP (HGB) Strong Excel skills and, ideally, experience with NetSuite or a comparable ERP system A hands-on, structured and accurate working style, combined with technical affinity and an interest in process automation and AI Professional proficiency in English and a good command of German, both written and spoken What we can offer you A welcoming workplace full of drinks, snacks, friendly faces and fun team-building events.
