About Us: Donut is a thriving YouTube channel known for its engaging and high-quality content focused on automotive. With a dedicated and rapidly growing fan base, we are committed to delivering captivating content to our audience. We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Production Assistant to join our Production team and play a pivotal role in our video production process. Job Summary: We're looking for a detail-oriented, part-time (roughly twenty hours per week) Accountant to help manage the day-to-day financial operations of a growing media business. You'll work closely with our Head of Production to keep the books clean, accurate, and audit-ready, while supporting the unique financial needs of a content-driven business. This is a great fit for someone who wants meaningful part-time work with a creative, fast-moving company, and who's comfortable working in-office at our headquarters in Inglewood one day a week. Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day bookkeeping: AP/AR, entering and coding receipts in Bill.com/Divvy, and month-end close Track and reconcile production budgets and expenses across multiple projects/series/departments Prepare monthly financial reports and support budget-to-actual analysis Help maintain clean, organized records in preparation for tax filings and annual audits Support ad hoc financial analysis Qualifications: 2+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience (media or entertainment experience a plus) Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience) Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets Strong understanding of GAAP fundamentals Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities Excellent communication skills and comfortable working both independently and in a team setting Based in or around Los Angeles, with the ability to be in-office one day per week in Inglewood, CA How to Apply: Please submit your resume, along with a cover letter showcasing your relevant experience to [email protected] Donut Media is an equal opportunity employer, and we welcome applications from candidates of all backgrounds.
