Role Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to support our financial operations across the North Africa region and ensure accurate reporting across the business. This role plays a key part in month-end close, reconciliations, and compliance, while working closely with senior finance roles. The position offers strong scope for professional development, increased responsibility, and long-term progression within the finance function as the business continues to grow.

Key responsibilities:

• Participation on handling of accounting tasks. Independent handling of accounting tasks
• Accounts receivable, accounts payable and general ledger
• Execution of travel expenses
• Takeover of payments
• Preparation of Value added tax returns
• Participation in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Processing of payment transactions and receivables management.
• Communication with the state administration
• Active participation in various financial projects
• Creation and evaluation of financial analysis
• Administrative tasks
• Payroll accounting
• Moving to new ERP system and input of documents will be valued positively

What We’re Looking For:

• Work experience in finance and accounting
• Good knowledge of using ERP Systems is preferable
• Very good knowledge of MS Office applications, especially Excel
• Strong affinity for numbers as well as analytical ability
• Independent, goal-oriented way of working
• Willing to learn and grow within the company
• Experience in accounting for hotels or restaurants
• Partly qualified or qualified

Languages:

• Fluent in English and in local language, both written and spoken
