Do what you say and say what you do The Position We are looking for a motivated and analytical Accountant with great attention to detail who can bring our accounting and financial set-up to the next level and who is driven by challenging projects in a fast-paced environment. Accounting is only a part of the various responsibilities that your role entails. You will be involved in numerous exciting and enriching projects such as digitalization, accounting system improvements and taking ownership on interesting projects (e.g. transfer pricing). What you’ll be doing: Be the front guard of our financials and support daily accounting tasks, prepare the monthly closing of financials, account reconciliations and financial reports. Support monthly/yearly VAT and corporate income tax calculations and returns. Work on challenging projects in finance in close collaboration with the internal Accounting & Controlling team as well as close contact with external local experts in France and the Netherlands. Have a big impact in the accounting, reporting and external audit process. Help define financial risks and shape concrete decisions and processes from scratch. Get exposure to the financial aspects of a fast-growing international company and be directly involved in projects such as digital transformation, automation and accounting system improvements. Your profile: Around 3-7 years of relevant accounting experience in a big four, consulting, corporate or high-growth environment. Firm grasp of Belgian GAAP. Knowledge of IFRS as well as basic comprehension with French & Dutch GAAP are a plus. Experience with statutory accounting and tax requirements (corporate income tax, VAT,...). Strong analytical & communication skills. You are digitally savvy and confident navigating new tools and systems. Good Excel skills are a must. Experience with modern SaaS tools (e.g., Notion, HubSpot; Airtable,...) are a plus.
