Accountant Fully Remote | Full-Time Looking for a remote accounting role where you can own your work and build real client relationships? Current is partnering with a fast-growing, nationally recognized accounting and advisory firm serving veterinary hospitals across the U.S. The firm offers a modern, fully remote environment built around trust, flexibility, collaboration, and meaningful client impact. We’re looking for an Accountant to manage a portfolio of veterinary practice clients through bookkeeping, reconciliations, financial reporting, onboarding, and ongoing client communication. What You’ll Do Manage a portfolio of 10+ full-service bookkeeping clients Perform QuickBooks Online bookkeeping and monthly reconciliations Prepare and finalize monthly financial reporting packages Support month-end close and resolve outstanding accounting items Assist with new client onboarding, QBO setup, and bookkeeping cleanup Serve as a responsive, trusted point of contact for clients Participate in quarterly client conversations Manage deadlines and deliverables through workflow systems Collaborate with leadership and team members to improve the client experience What We’re Looking For 2+ years of bookkeeping, accounting support, or outsourced accounting experience Strong QuickBooks Online proficiency Experience with reconciliations, financial reporting, and month-end close Excellent organization and time-management skills Strong written and verbal communication Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment Strong attention to detail and client-service mindset XCM or similar workflow experience is a plus Why Join? 100% remote Flexible scheduling Competitive compensation Career advancement opportunities A collaborative, low-micromanagement culture If you’re an organized, proactive Accountant who enjoys working directly with clients and wants the flexibility of a fully remote environment, this is an opportunity worth exploring. Compensation & Benefits The total rewards package at Current includes base salary and benefits. Our salary ranges are competitive within the accounting industry and are updated regularly using the most reliable compensation survey data for our industry.
