Accountant / Financial Analyst

Role Description This is a part-time, remote role for an Accountant / Financial Analyst. The role involves preparing, reviewing, and analyzing financial statements, as well as supporting monthly and quarterly financial reporting. The individual will monitor expenses and revenue, perform variance and trend analysis, and provide data-driven insights to support decision-making. Day-to-day responsibilities include working with accounting software, maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and relevant standards. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to clarify financial data and support operational and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Finance and demonstrated Analytical Skills to interpret data and support business decisions.
• Ability to prepare, review, and analyze Financial Statements with attention to accuracy and compliance.
• Experience with Accounting Software and tools used for Financial Reporting.
• Solid understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Proficiency in Excel and other spreadsheet or data analysis tools.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage part-time remote work independently.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills for collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Prior experience in an IT, technology, or services environment is beneficial.
