Accountant for a Finance Company in Australia (Home Based Part Time)

Client Information The Company offers a comprehensive range of financial services, including tax return preparation for individuals, businesses, and self-managed super funds. Its services also extend to bookkeeping, BAS preparation, financial reporting, business planning, and other tailored financial support solutions designed to meet a wide variety of client needs. Job Description • Prepare financial statements, profit & loss statements, and balance sheets • Prepare and lodge tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, and partnerships • Prepare Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) returns • Complete BAS, IAS, and other compliance reporting • Provide basic tax advice and respond to client queries • Analyse financial data to support business advisory services • Maintain accurate records across accounting systems Must Haves • Residency in the Philippines. Open to Filipinos ONLY. • Minimum 2+ years' experience in business advisory/accounting • CA/CPA qualified or currently studying • Strong knowledge of Australian tax and compliance requirements • Able to prepare individual, company, and trust tax returns • Proficiency in Xero (essential), MYOB, and QuickBooks • Strong written and verbal English communication skills • High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills Nice to Haves • Experience with Xero Tax and Xero Workpapers is highly regarded but not essential Home Office Requirements Please only apply for this role if you have the following home office requirements: · Perfectly working headset and webcam · Stable internet connection of at least 25 Mbps ~ 50 Mbps · Up to date computer system with a minimum of Windows 10 or later and macOS Monterey (12.0) or later · Quiet room with no distractions or background noises · A backup plan if the power goes out or if your internet connection becomes unstable during your shift Only applicants meeting the strict criteria above will be contacted.
