Accountant - General Ledger Services (f/m/d)

Purpose of Position As an Accountant within General Ledger Services, you are responsible for ensuring accurate accounting and accrual-based recording of all business transactions in the general ledger of all Awin entities. Key Responsibilities Ensure timely and accurate journal entries according to IFRS and local GAAP’s Ensure timely input for month end close/year end close, P13, audit, final check ‘s Provide input for external audits and tax audits Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliation Support with the calculation for intragroup invoices Analysis and posting of forecasted costs, accrual cost, accrued revenue, to determine the need to release them Implement new processes / policies and update existing ones Regularly aligning with other departments to stay updated or inform them proactively when necessary Perform simple short analysis for the topics in their portfolio to ensure accuracy and make corrections where needed. Key Skills : 3-4+ years of working experience in a similar General Ledger and reporting role Knowledge in IFRS is desirable Good communication (verbal and written) with customer service skills and clear information sharing Advanced English language skills essential (B2-C1+) Good collaboration skills in a fast paced and dynamic environment Detail-oriented with good analytical and problem -solving abilities You are a team player and open to learning new activities / processes Bachelor's degree in accounting (or other Finance related) preferred Strong skills in MS Excel Microsoft Dynamic D365 is a plus.
