Our current client is one of the leading international companies in aviation services and airport ground handling . On their behalf we are looking for a Accountant with English/Senior AP with with English to join their team in Sofia. Responsibilities: Manage all accounting activities related to subcontracting operations Ensure accurate recording and reconciliation of vendor invoices, subcontractor costs, and related accruals; Monitor and verify cost allocations between subcontracting partners and internal cost centers; Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and reconciliations; Collaborate closely with Operations and Finance to ensure timely and compliant invoice flow; Prepare reports and analyses for management, focusing on subcontracting expenses and cost development; Participate in audits and provide documentation related to subcontracting agreements. Requirements: Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a comparable qualification; Several years of experience in Accounting, ideally with exposure to subcontracting or service provider management; Strong expertise in bank postings, reconciliations, and month-end closing activities; Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and MS Excel; Knowledge of IFRS or HGB is an advantage; Analytical mindset with a structured and detail-oriented way of working; Experience working with auditors (internal/external); Fluent English skills.
