POSITION: Accounting Generalist LOCATION: We will only consider candidates legally authorized to work in Brazil . WORKPLACE TYPE: Flexible hybrid working environment CLOSING DATE: 28 August 2026 JOB LEVEL: 13 POSITION SUMMARY: The Accounting Generalist, Brazil is an important member of the Regions and Support units (Finance & Administration) teams. The Accounting Generalist will handle the daily accounting, administration and Human Resources processes supporting the Brazil team. You will be responsible for compliance with local tax requirements with the legal team and the Country Director. You will report to the Regional Accounting Manager, Latin America, in close collaboration with the Country Manager. WHAT YOU WILL DO: Controls and Procedures Implement internal accounting controls and procedures. Provide training regarding accounting/ financial procedures to ensure personnel adherence and accomplish them, including Netsuite Invoice, Netsuite Expense, Netsuite Advances. Maintain an inventory of office assets. Maintain accounting and payroll records and ensure that they are accurate and detailed and archived. Cashbox and Banks Monitor office cash flow and maintain regular communication about this with Regional Accounting Manager. Coordinate with local staff and prepare the monthly cash flow. Administrate local banking relations, including bank accounts, credit cards, and others. Prepare monthly bank statement reconciliations. Payroll Coordinate and review monthly payroll to ensure that the payroll calculations are according to local labor laws. Provided feed back to employees regarding payroll calculations and taxes. Prepare and send payroll reports. Accounting Review and process Expense Reports, Invoices and Advances to staff and ensure all documentation is according to the local laws. Process payments and upload information to the bank. Maintain the local accounting system and ensure the correct recording and coding of the information. Keep accounting accounts conciliated and with the respective details. Perform bookkeeping and preparation of monthly close with Regional Accounting Manager. Ensure monthly closing. Prepare and submit all local filings (tax and others). Coordinate the annual country audit and support the global audit process and the local audits for projects. WHAT YOU BRING: Bachelor's or advanced degree in accounting. 2+ years accounting, administration and/or human resources expereince. Accounting legal registration in Brazil. Payroll preparation experience. Knowledge and experience with softwares such as Netsuite , Salesforce, Sharepoint.
