About the Role: This position works within our Client Services Department. You will manage and oversee the quality of work of a team of accountants who own their own book of business and are responsible for our clients’ success. What You'll Do: Manage a team of 3-5 accountants and ensure they are completing engagements Ensure accuracy and quality control of client work Oversee the profitability of client engagements Ability to cross-sell and upsell additional service offerings to the client base Responsible for the training and development of team members Manage team workflow to meet client deadlines Technical lead on accounting and technology issues How To Be Successful In This Role: Driven & Accountable: You take ownership, push for results, and hold yourself to a high standard. “Good enough” isn't in your vocabulary. What Gets You to the Top of the List: 7-10 years of accounting experience, including 3+ years at a mid-sized CPA firm 3-5 years in a people management or leadership role Experience preparing and consolidating financial statements and issuing financial reports Strong communication skills and a passion for helping small businesses succeed Proficiency with cloud-based platforms like QuickBooks Online and Xero Familiarity with tools like Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, A2X, Bill.com , and Gusto Ability to build processes, drive operational efficiency, and deliver strategic insights Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required (MS/MBA preferred); CPA strongly preferred Bonus: Experience with e-commerce, SaaS, real estate, inventory management, or internal controls What You Can Expect as a Team Member: Salary range from $110,000-$140,000/year + performance bonus Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision 401K with employer match after the first year Paid parental leave for all parents (biological, adoptive, and foster) Fully remote work environment Unlimited PTO after your first year Company-paid holidays Team-building events and virtual activities Career development and internal promotion opportunities At Bookkeeper360, we are committed to hiring diverse talent of different backgrounds and as such, it is important to us to provide an inclusive work environment for all.
