Accounting Specialist

Responsibilities Check the accuracy and completeness of accounting records, in compliance with internal control procedures and quality requirements. Ensure the integrity of accounting information by accurately recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering financial transactions. Participate in month-end closing activities and perform account reconciliations. Prepare and post accounting entries for: assets; liabilities; revenues; expenses,based on the analysis of accounting information. Maintain and reconcile subsidiary accounts (sub-ledgers), identifying and resolving discrepancies. Consolidate the financial position and prepare: trial balance; balance sheet profit and loss statement; other financial reports. Prepare tax calculations (taxes, duties) in accordance with applicable legislation under Senior Accountant supervision. Prepare statutory tax returns (D300, D394, D390, SAF-T) under Senior Accountant supervision. Perform monthly group reporting , in line with Expleo group requirements and deadlines. Provide support and documentation during tax inspections and financial audits (internal or external). Qualifications - University degree in Economics (Accounting, Finance, Economics).- 3-5 years of experience in an accounting role.- Knowledge of financial accounting and Romanian tax legislation.- Experience with month-end closing and financial reporting.- Excel skills – advanced level.- Experience with ERP systems: SAP, Oracle, experience with Unit4 is an advantage- English – intermediate level.
