Reporting to AP Manager - Duplicates
Location - Remote - 75% / Site Visits - 25%
The ratio of working from home / site visits can vary significantly, however on average it will be 2-3 weeks working from home, and 1-2 weeks working onsite per month.
Overnight stays for the duration of the site visit will be required, typically a full week at a time. We cover the whole of the UK.
Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented AP Advisor to join our AP Duplicates Team. In this role, you will play a key part in delivering financial reviews for NHS clients, helping to identify and recover a range of overpayments.
Working with large and complex datasets, you will use your analytical skills and advanced Excel capabilities to review financial information, identify discrepancies, and uncover opportunities for savings. The role requires a high level of accuracy, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work methodically with large volumes of data.
As an AP Advisor, you will make a significant contribution to the success of the team by generating revenue through the identification of overpayments, supporting the AP team in achieving its performance and financial targets.
PRINCIPAL TASKS & ACTIVITIES
- Scheduling Duplicate Payment reviews with clients, including schedule dates, access required and debrief meetings.
- Prioritising and managing client workload.
- Maintain relationships with clients, understand the client history and assist in the resolution of issues and disputes.
- Updating and maintaining our central CRM system with client information.
- Complete remote analysis on clients datasets, identifying preliminary findings by reviewing large transaction lists line by line.
- Complete site visits at client premises.
- Present findings to clients, including key weaknesses, main highlights from the review, recommendations and next steps.
- Build a positive rapport with clients.
- Generate consistent revenue.
- Ensure reviews are carried out in the allocated number of days.
- Control and report on productivity.
- Ensure data security obligations concerning clients and the company are adhered to.
- Identify opportunities for additional revenue streams in all areas of the business.

Qualifications
- Minimum 5 GCSE/O Level equivalent including English and Maths
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
- To build and maintain excellent relationships with clients.
- To work towards and achieve monetary targets.
- Gain excellent understanding of how duplicates occur, system weaknesses in finance and supplier practices for invoicing.
- To complete an average duplicates review in 8 days, including offsite analysis and onsite validations.
- Acquiring client approval of claims, within 3 weeks of presenting.
