The anticipated pay range for this position is $23-$26 hourly with final compensation based on experience, skills, education, and location. Summary: Owens & Minor is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accounts Payable Associate to join our Finance team. In this role, you will support a wide range of Accounts Payable and accounting functions while partnering with suppliers and internal teams to resolve discrepancies, improve processes, and ensure timely and accurate financial operations. Responsibilities: Analyze supplier data using multiple software applications to identify and resolve statement and unvouchered receipt issues. Partner with suppliers, Supply Chain Management, and Distribution Centers to monitor, document, resolve, and escalate account discrepancies. Lead conference calls and collaborate with supplier partners to resolve issues and drive continuous process improvements. Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies in a timely and fiscally responsible manner to support Accounts Payable performance goals. Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports to reconcile accounts and communicate potential financial exposure to leadership. Maintain accurate documentation while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Prioritize multiple tasks and work independently in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment. Requirements: Associate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred, but not required. Two or more years of Accounts Payable or related accounting experience, including issue resolution, preferred. Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
