Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) and Planned Parenthood Action Fund seek a passionate and meticulous Accounts Payable Manager . This job reports to the Senior Director, Procurement in the Procurement team within the Finance Division of PPFA. The Procurement team provides enterprise-wide procurement operations, contract lifecycle management, supplier lifecycle management, and accounts-payable services that enable PPFA to advance its mission with fiscal discipline and stakeholder-centric support. This is a cycle hire position with a duration of 6-12 months. Purpose: The Accounts Payable Manager is responsible for managing the financial and administrative responsibilities related to paying suppliers and vendors. This role requires a well-organized individual with strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently. A successful candidate should possess technical expertise of financial processes and procedures in addition to knowledge of accounting software and automation. Engagement: This role works closely with all departments throughout the organization and external stakeholders. Delivery: Oversee and manage the entire accounts payable process Ensure timely processing of invoices and payments Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers Prepare and analyze accounts payable reports Implement and monitor internal controls over accounts payable Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements Supervise and provide guidance to accounts payable team members Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation Manage the accounts payable ledger and ensure accuracy of data Maintain accurate and organized financial records Collaborate with other departments to streamline operations Handle escalated inquiries from vendors and internal staff Performs other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs): Bachelor’s degree required along with some experience in Finance. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent planning, organizational, coordination and time management skills. Ability to analyze and solve problems. Must be able to work with little or no supervision and multi-task effectively. Strong computer skills are necessary including Microsoft Office and Google suites.
