Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and energetic Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable Specialist to join our dynamic finance team. In this role, you will manage the company’s billing processes, ensure timely collections, process payments accurately, and maintain strong client relationships. Your expertise will support our financial health and operational efficiency as we continue to grow. Responsibilities Manage accounts receivable processes, including invoicing, collections account management, and customer communication to ensure timely payments Process accounts payable transactions accurately using financial software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or PeopleSoft Reconcile accounts receivable and payable ledgers regularly to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly Maintain detailed records of billing activities, journal entries, and account analysis using spreadsheets and accounting systems Collaborate with clients and vendors via phone or email to negotiate payment terms and resolve billing disputes with professionalism and courtesy Support compliance with financial regulations such as GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) controls Assist with month-end closing procedures by preparing reports on receivables, payables, and aging analysis Requirements Proven experience in accounting or finance roles with a focus on accounts receivable and accounts payable management Strong knowledge of accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, PeopleSoft, or similar systems Familiarity with financial concepts including debits & credits, journal entries, account reconciliation, and double entry bookkeeping Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications with advanced Excel skills including formulas and data analysis techniques Experience working within public accounting or corporate accounting environments preferred Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in data entry and record keeping Effective communication skills for client interaction and negotiation; professional phone etiquette required Knowledge of medical billing or governmental accounting is a plus but not mandatory Join us at Endless Energy to be part of a passionate team dedicated to making a difference in energy efficiency while advancing your career in a vibrant environment.
