Accounts Receivable Specialist (Pharmacy)

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Work Shift: 8pm to 5am (Philippines) Flexibility in schedule / Shifting Primary Function/General Purpose of Position Responsible for performing day-to-day accounts receivable activities, including payment posting, reconciliation, invoicing, and collections. Ensures accuracy in financial transactions and supports timely resolution of customer account issues. Contributes to maintaining healthy cash flow and accurate financial records. Essential functions are the reason a job exists. · Record and apply customer payments (ACH, credit cards). · Reconcile daily payment batches with accounting records. · Generate and distribute invoices and billing statements. · Monitor AR aging and follow up on overdue accounts. · Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies. · Respond to customer inquiries regarding billing and payments. · Verify billing details for invoice accuracy. · Support month-end and year-end close processes. · Escalate unresolved accounts to management as needed . · Assist with audit documentation and compliance reviews. · Recommend process improvements to enhance AR accuracy and cycle time.
