ACORE is seeking a passionate, energetic, and talented Marketing Intern to join our team. ACORE is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization that operates at the intersection of affordability, reliability, and clean energy deployment. Our work is focused on stabilizing energy prices, strengthening the electric grid, and driving investment in cost-effective technologies to ensure that clean energy delivers for people, businesses, and the U.S. economy. The intern role will involve supporting efforts around web development, marketing promotion, and content creation. The ideal candidate has strong writing and graphic design skills, the ability to work independently, and can multitask in a fast-paced environment. Interns will report to the Senior Marketing Manager. Candidates should be working toward a major in marketing, communications, public relations, political science, or similar fields. This internship is paid at a rate of $19.00 per hour and can be conducted on a hybrid or remote basis. Responsibilities Draft, edit and/or proofread a wide variety of written content (e.g., social media posts, marketing emails, promotional materials) Assist with drafting and scheduling content for ACORE’s social media platforms including X and LinkedIn Support event promotion strategies for signature conferences and other key ACORE events Analyze marketing metrics and create reports Design, refresh, and edit digital graphics, signage, and presentations Perform other administrative tasks and miscellaneous duties as assigned Required Skills and Qualifications Strong interpersonal skills and experience working as part of a team Current enrollment in an undergraduate degree program At least 15-20 hours of internship availability per week throughout the fall semester Solid writing skills, including familiarity with Associated Press style Ability to work independently, multitask, and take ownership over projects and assignments Visual/graphic communications experience required Experience with Canva and MS Office suite required How to Apply Candidates are invited to apply for the internship program by submitting a cover letter, resume, and digital portfolio.
