Acoustic Consultant (Remote) : Noise and Acoustics Division
Overview
Were looking for an experienced Acoustic Consultant to join our team in a fully remote role, ideally based between Manchester and Birmingham. With a salary of up to GBP45,000, this is a great opportunity to take a lead role in developing our growing Noise and Acoustics division, aligned closely with our wider sustainability offering.
Youll be working with Tier 1 contractors on an increasing pipeline of projects, including BREEAM assessments and sound insulation testing, with real scope to bring work in:house and shape the service line.
What youll be doing
Leading and delivering acoustic projects, including BREEAM credits and sound insulation testing
Working closely with Tier 1 contractors, developers and design teams to provide practical acoustic solutions
Supporting the growth of the Noise and Acoustics division, helping expand services and workload
Producing and reviewing technical outputs such as noise impact assessments, noise modelling, and noise at work assessments
Ensuring compliance with relevant guidance and standards, including Building Regulations Part E
Contributing to sustainable design outcomes by integrating acoustics into environmentally responsible projects
What were looking for
Consultancy experience in acoustics, including BREEAM work and sound insulation testing
Strong knowledge of noise assessment, modelling and reporting
Understanding of Part E and relevant UK standards/guidance
Confident communicator with strong project management skills
Able to work independently while collaborating with a wider remote team
Degree in Acoustics, Environmental Science or similar (preferred)
