Acumatica Solutions Architect - Part-Time Work Arrangement: Fully Remote | Part-Time (20 hours per week) | Pacific Timezone Role Summary: We are seeking an experienced Acumatica Solutions Architect to lead the design and architecture of Acumatica ERP solutions for our clients. In this role, you will be responsible for defining the overall solution architecture, ensuring the ERP system is designed to support business objectives while balancing scalability, maintainability, and best practices. You will work closely with stakeholders, consultants, and technical teams to translate complex business requirements into effective Acumatica solutions. What You'll Be Doing: Own the overall solution architecture for Acumatica ERP implementations and enhancements. Design and define the system's entity structure, chart of accounts, and overall data architecture. Evaluate business requirements and determine the best-fit Acumatica modules to meet operational and financial needs. Make strategic decisions on when to leverage standard Acumatica configuration versus custom development. Ensure solution designs align with business goals, industry best practices, and Acumatica capabilities. Collaborate with functional consultants, developers, project managers, and client stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Review solution designs and provide architectural guidance to ensure scalability, security, and long-term maintainability. Identify integration requirements with third-party applications and ensure seamless system interoperability. Provide technical leadership during solution planning, implementation, testing, and deployment. Serve as the trusted advisor for clients on ERP architecture, process optimization, and digital transformation initiatives. Stay current with Acumatica product enhancements and recommend improvements that maximize platform capabilities. What You'll Need: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Accounting Information Systems, Business, or a related field. Extensive experience implementing and architecting Acumatica ERP solutions. Strong understanding of Acumatica modules, including Financial Management, Distribution, Manufacturing, CRM, and Project Accounting. Proven experience designing ERP data models, entity structures, and chart of accounts. Deep knowledge of ERP architecture, business process design, and enterprise solution best practices. Ability to assess business requirements and recommend optimal solutions using standard functionality, configurations, or customizations. Experience integrating Acumatica with third-party systems through APIs and other integration technologies. Strong stakeholder management and client-facing consulting skills. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to lead cross-functional teams and provide technical direction throughout ERP implementation projects. What Will Set You Apart: Acumatica certifications are highly preferred. Experience leading multiple full-cycle ERP implementations. Knowledge of cloud architecture, system integrations, and software development best practices. Experience working in a consulting or professional services environment is a plus.
