ADF Rehabilitation Consultant

As an ADF Rehabilitation Consultant at Acumen Health, you will call on your clinical reasoning skills and clinical expertise to support ADF personnel who have suffered from injury, illness, or trauma. Working with the only rehabilitation service provider to ADF personnel, you will take a holistic care approach for your client that gets them fully fit and military ready to defend and protect Australia. This role will include: Provision of backfill support for on-base positions within the Northern Territory and/or South Australia to cover workforce plan vacancies, annual and sick leave. Provision of overflow case management activities and/or specific services across the ADFRP and DVA portfolios as required. Support the RGM and TMs with quality & other business activities, such as induction and training of new starters, competency reviews, strategic case reviews, file reviews/audits and QA of reports as needed. Team Manager Leave Coverage Some of the key requirements are: Based in Adelaide SA or Darwin NT with the desire to work across one or both States Existing knowledge of ADF 12 months relevant occupational rehabilitation experience Appropriate Allied Health Qualification (Social Work, Psychology, Nursing, Exercise Physiology, Osteopathy, Physiotherapy, Rehabilitation Counselling, Occupational Therapy) Professional registration (ESSA as an EP, AHPRA, ASORC or AASW) Excellent stakeholder management, communication and negotiation skills Excellent time management skills About Acumen Experts in workplace health, injury management and safety, Acumen (part of the APM Group) has an unrelenting passion to deliver the best quality services, at the highest standards to improve lives.
