Is this job info correct?

Employment Type: Full-Time / Flexible (40 hours/week)

Location: Remote + On-the-Ground Tasks across Hong Kong (Primarily HK Island)

Compensation: HK$13,000 / month + MPF Statutory Contribution

Probation Period: 1 Month

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive, friendly, resourceful, organized and bilingual assistant to facilitate our business's operational logistics, including administrative tasks and running errands.

This full-time role is ideal for a recent graduate looking for hands-on experience in business coordination and executive support. You will serve as our key local contact—assisting with setup logistics prior to our arrival to HK and managing ongoing operational needs once we land. Above all, we value strong practical common sense, a proactive 'can-do' attitude, and a high EQ.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ground Support & Execution: Conduct site visits and run errands across Hong Kong Island (and occasionally Kowloon), collecting physical documents, picking up supplies, coordinating deliveries, and liaising with building management and vendors.
  • Administrative & Errand Management: Oversee day-to-day scheduling, make reservations, and resolve local administrative tasks.
  • Research & Navigation: Research processes and best practices, summarize research into documents, source local suppliers, and solve practical day-to-day operational challenges.
  • Communication & Coordination: Maintain daily check-ins via WhatsApp, keep task boards updated in Notion, and manage basic digital and media asset management.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Location & Working Rights: Must be based in Hong Kong with full legal working rights (local permanent resident or recent grad with valid work authorization).
  • Language Skills: Fluent Cantonese (essential for local vendors, and building management) and strong professional English (for daily communication with us).
  • Cultural Competency: Strong understanding of Western workplace culture, clear direct communication, and solid practical common sense.
  • Interpersonal Fit & Attitude: Friendly, easy to get along with, and highly approachable. Excellent common sense, reliable, and comfortable navigating day-to-day challenges with good humor.
  • Equipment: Must have your own smartphone for communication.
  • Software: Comfortable and quick to learn different softwares.
  • Traits: Self-starter, proactive problem-solver, highly reliable, and detail-oriented.

  • Bonus / Huge Plus: Local Admin & Compliance Knowledge: Prior exposure to or familiarity with Hong Kong business administration, basic bookkeeping/invoice filing, MPF processes, or Inland Revenue Department (IRD) compliance is a strong advantage.

Working Style & Expectations:

  • Flexibility & Autonomy: We offer genuine schedule flexibility to accommodate your daily workflow. In return, we expect high reliability, proactive communication, and full ownership of your assigned tasks.
  • Responsiveness: Daily online responsiveness via WhatsApp during business hours is expected for time-sensitive tasks and quick updates.

Perks & Compensation:

  • Remote & Workplace Flexibility: Computer-based and administrative tasks can be completed remotely or from our office space in Wong Chuk Hang, depending on the task requirements. On-the-ground errands will take place across Hong Kong Island and occasionally Kowloon.
  • Expense Reimbursement: 100% of on-the-job travel (MTR/bus transit between task sites) and pre-approved task expenses reimbursed regularly. (Note: Standard daily commuting to/from your first and last location of the day is not covered).
  • Leave & Benefits: Statutory annual leave, statutory public holidays.

How to Apply:

Please ensure your application includes the following:

  • Resume / CV: Highlighting your education, relevant administrative/logistics background, and language capabilities.
  • Work Authorization Status: Clearly state your current Hong Kong work eligibility (e.g., HK Permanent Resident, IANG visa holder, or dependant visa).
  • Earliest Available Start Date: Indicate your notice period (if currently employed) or earliest available start date.
  • Short 2-Minute Video Application: A 2-minute intro video is strongly encouraged and will fast-track your application. Include a link to a unlisted YouTube video, Google Drive link, or Loom recording answering the following three questions:
  1. Introduce yourself and share why you are interested in this full-time role.
  2. Briefly mention if you have any background in local HK administration, bookkeeping, or operations
  3. What is your favorite neighborhood on Hong Kong Island, and why?
