Reports to: Manager, Plan Operations Job Summary: Administrator II provides support and works directly with an assigned Team to support Account Managers in retirement plan compliance work. This position requires excellent analytical abilities, attention to detail, accuracy and problem-solving ability. The position requires the ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality and the ability to work as part of a team, while independently managing accounts with minimal required supervision. Excellent communication skills and full understanding of the importance of customer service is a must. Candidate has competence in all Administrator skills. Responsibilities: Requesting, tracking and monitoring year-end data from clients Reviewing year-end data submitted & addressing issues with the information with client Requesting missing year-end data (substantial client interaction involved) Importing census and contribution information into compliance testing system Running eligibility transaction into compliance testing system, interacting with clients to resolve issues Downloading various investment information from vendor websites Uploading financial information into compliance testing system Allocating plan contributions; gain/loss; transfers and loan repayments Reconciling contributions by employer with contributions deposited at vendor Preparing Form 5500SF independently Preparing Form 8955-SSA Inviting client / 3(16) Administrator to electronically sign 5500 Preparing vesting uploads for various vendors and uploads to their site Processing participant address changes, enrollment and beneficiary forms Maintaining effective relationships with clients and advisor contacts Ensuring deadlines are identified and met Preparing and processing required minimum distributions (RMD) Responding in a timely manner to participants’ phone calls and emails Completing other tasks as assigned Requirements: College degree preferred Minimum 2 years in administration or similar role in retirement administration Competence in all administrator functions and skills Meeting Administrator service standards for accuracy and timing Excellent verbal and written communication skills Knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft applications/software Excellent math skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability and willingness to provide a high level of service to clients Ability and willingness to be a team player.
