Is this job info correct?

Admissions Coordinator Asheville Recovery Center — Asheville, NC Asheville Recovery Center is seeking a personable, motivated Admissions Coordinator to join our admissions team. This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys connecting with people, builds rapport quickly, and follows through. You will often be one of the first people an individual or family speaks with when considering treatment, so the ability to communicate with both compassion and confidence is important. What You'll Do • Respond to prospective clients, families, and referral sources; explain our programs and admissions process; complete initial screenings; and maintain consistent follow-up with individuals considering treatment • Help prospective clients work through barriers to entering treatment • Coordinate incoming admissions with our treatment team • Maintain accurate, HIPAA-compliant admissions documentation and handle sensitive client information with discretion at all times • Develop and maintain relationships with referral sources • Conduct outreach and identify opportunities to connect appropriate individuals with treatment • Work proactively toward individual admissions and census goals — this is not a role that simply waits for the phone to ring Who You'll Work With This role reports to the Admissions Director and works alongside the rest of the admissions team, coordinating closely with clinical and operations staff to ensure a smooth intake process. What We're Looking For • Strong communication, organization, and follow-through • Comfort speaking with individuals and families during stressful situations • Ability to work independently, handle sensitive information, and take ownership of responsibilities • High school diploma or equivalent required • Experience in behavioral health, substance use treatment, admissions, intake, healthcare, outreach, business development, customer service, or relationship-based sales preferred but not required Compensation & Benefits Salary: $50,000–$65,000 annually, based on experience Performance-based bonus opportunities based on overall job performance and established departmental and organizational performance measures, structured in accordance with applicable healthcare laws and regulations 401(k) Paid time off (PTO) Flexible scheduling Schedule & Work Environment This is a full-time position with a flexible schedule based on admissions needs and prospective client activity. Hours may include daytime, evening, and weekend availability — this is not a traditional Monday–Friday, 9–5 role. Individuals and families seeking treatment often reach out outside standard business hours, so responsiveness and flexibility are important parts of the job. This position is based in Asheville, NC, with a combination of in-office and remote work. The exact balance depends on training stage, performance, and departmental needs. If you're someone who connects easily with people, takes initiative, follows through, and wants to play a direct role in helping individuals access treatment, we'd like to hear from you. Asheville Recovery Center is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
