Job Title: Admissions Operations Contractor (Undergraduate) Department: Growth Reports To: Director of Admissions & Enrollment Pay Rate: $25 per hour Position Type : Fixed Term, Part-Time (25 hours/week) The Position The Undergraduate Admissions Operations Contractor serves as a vital bridge for new and prospective applicants within the Undergraduate Admissions pipeline. By strategically focusing on application management and roadblock resolution, this role accelerates applicant progression while relieving operational capacity for full-time admissions advisors. This is a pipeline acceleration, enrollment support, and partnership-strengthening role designed to improve applicant turnaround times, boost overall responsiveness, and drive key enrollment targets. 1. Application Management & Pipeline Acceleration Serve as the primary admissions support contact for new and current applicants. Collect, verify, and track outstanding admissions materials, including transcripts, employer documentation, and required program forms. Maintain an accurate, live tracker of applicant statuses within the system. Execute a proactive outreach cadence (email, text, and phone calls) to guide applicants through completing their files. Evaluate and transition qualified candidates from "Incomplete" to "Complete" status as requirements are satisfied. Identify and flag potential file concerns or edge cases early to Admissions Advisors. 2. Application Roadblock Resolution Partner with Admissions Advisors to resolve missing documentation issues and eliminate application bottlenecks. Identify recurring patterns causing delays in the completion process. Ensure no application profile remains unreviewed or untouched beyond designated performance thresholds (e.g., 3–5 business days). Escalate complex eligibility cases promptly to designated team leads. 3. Reporting & Accountability Maintain a weekly 30-minute pipeline review sync with the Admissions Lead. Submit a concise end-of-week snapshot summary highlighting: Total applicants contacted and follow-up volume. Number of applications successfully moved to "Complete." Roadblocks requiring escalation. Operational trends or recurring issue patterns. Key Success Metrics Significant reduction in the "Incomplete" application backlog. Decreased average turnaround time from initial submission to "Complete" status. Measurable reduction in administrative workload for full-time admissions advisors. Consistently accurate documentation, tracking, and applicant communication.
