Posting End Date: September 15, 2026 Employee Type: Regular-Full time Union/Non: This is a non-union position At Enbridge, we are committed to generating safe, reliable energy while driving financial excellence and innovation. We are seeking a Safety Advisor who is passionate about protecting people, strengthening safety culture, and making a real impact across Power generation operations across North America. In this role, you will be a trusted partner to operational leaders and field teams — championing our prevention of serious injuries and fatalities and implementing the safety management system that keeps our people safe and our communities powered. If you are ready to bring your health and safety expertise to a team that values stewardship, reliability, and substantial results, apply today and be part of something that matters! Note: This position is not eligible for employment-based sponsorship now or in the future. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the country where the position is located without requiring sponsorship from Enbridge now or in the future. What You Will Do: Safety Advisor to wind and solar sites predominantly in Texas and the southern United States, along with locations in Northern or Central U.S. and Canada as required. Champion safety culture by partnering with operational leadership to implement the Safety Management program and ensure safe work practices. Conduct safety assessments, inspections, and observations — then trend the data and drive corrective actions to completion. Support the full incident management cycle, from reporting and investigation through corrective action monitoring and lessons learned. Ensure regulatory compliance by interfacing with federal, state, and third-party auditors and delivering timely, corrective action plans. Who You Are: Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited university. 4+ years of progressively responsible health and safety experience within the energy industry. For candidates who do not possess a university degree, an additional 3-year of experience is required (total 7+ years). Demonstrated ability to lead change, influence outcomes without direct authority, train and motivate people to work safely, work collaboratively, and deliver results while managing multiple priorities independently. Strong research, problem-solving, observation, analytical, and report writing skills with a keen attention to detail. Proven interpersonal and communication skills across all organizational levels, with excellent presentation skills. Prior experience working with renewable energy generation and prior experience or specialization with electrical safety is preferred. Physical Requirements include but are not limited to: Grasping, kneeling, light – moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time. Mental Requirements (Both Field & Office) include but are not limited to: Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone. Working Conditions: Office and field environments. Significant travel (~50%) within the region. Ability to travel and work throughout the United States. Valid passport is required as travel may be required outside of the U.S. Must have a driver's license. You will undergo various background screenings that include but is not limited to 5-year driving record, criminal check and a company sponsored medical. Ability to climb several stories high in a confined space. Salary: Ranges from $80,500 – $120,500 USD for U.S. locations based upon candidate’s experience, skills, and internal equity. Applicable compensation policies and guidelines apply to internal candidates. Benefits: A flexible benefits program that allows each employee to select the level of coverage needed for their family in the areas of health, dental, insurance, and disability. A paid maternity and parental leave benefit that offers up to 20 weeks of paid leave for birth-giving parents and up to 12 weeks for other eligible parents, providing flexibility and support during this important life event. Valuable retirement savings plans, including a savings plan with company stock as an investment option. Paid time off/vacation/sick, plus paid personal days off (depending on location), and paid holidays. An Employee and Family Assistance Program. A Wellness Program, which focuses on supporting healthier employees by providing tools, resources, and opportunities to improve physical, mental, social, and financial well-being. Enbridge’s FlexWork (hybrid work model) offers eligible employees (Manager and below) the option to work from home on Wednesdays and Fridays. Role requirements determine your eligibility for hybrid work options. #LI-Hybrid At Enbridge, we are dedicated to our core value of Inclusion. We are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer . We are committed to providing employment opportunities to all qualified individuals, without regard to age, race, color, national or ethnic origin, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, marital status, family status, veteran status, Indigenous status, disability, or any other reason protected by federal, state, or local law.
