Agent in Training | Farmers Insurance Full Time | Base Pay + Uncapped Commission Are you good with people, motivated by goals, and interested in learning more than just how to sell insurance? We’re looking for an Agent in Training to join a high performing Farmers Insurance agency. You’ll spend most of your time working as a Sales Producer, but you’ll also work closely with agency leadership to learn how a successful insurance business operates and grows. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys sales and relationship building but also has bigger career goals and wants to develop their business and leadership skills. What You’ll Do Work agency provided leads and connect with potential customers through calls and follow up Quote and sell Auto, Home, Life, and Business insurance Build relationships and create new opportunities through referrals, networking, and prospecting Manage your pipeline and work toward individual sales and production goals What You’ll Learn Sales will be your main focus, but you’ll also get hands on experience with other parts of the business, including: Agency operations, processes, and business planning Marketing, lead generation, budgeting, and profitability Recruiting, hiring, team development, and performance management Sales leadership, customer retention, technology, and compliance What We’re Looking For Insurance experience is helpful, but it’s not required. We care more about finding someone who has the right attitude and wants to grow. Competitive, motivated, and comfortable working toward goals Confident talking to people, building relationships, and making outbound calls Coachable, resilient, and willing to be held accountable Interested in developing their sales, leadership, and business skills Previous experience in sales, customer service, management, business development, banking, hospitality, or another people focused role is preferred.
