Agentic Software Engineer

You will build real software — Django services, JavaScript front ends, Postgres schemas, integrations that have to hold up in production, and much more. In the age of AI we don’t expect you to type every line yourself, but the mind behind the work needs to be yours. That is the one thing you can’t delegate.
This is actually the harder job, not the shortcut. You have to know what good looks like before the work comes back, and you have to catch what is wrong the moment it does. If you already work this way and would not go back, you know exactly what this role is.
Required
- Drive The one we weigh most heavily. We are looking for someone who enjoys their work, and loves to learn and build things. The work won’t be easy, but it will be rewarding in more ways than one. We want someone who is motivated to do their best work, and who will take ownership of their projects and see them through to completion.
- English Written and spoken. It is the working language of the studio and without communication, there is no collaboration.
- Programming experience Real, hands-on. You can read, write, design, optimize and debug real code.
- Agentic coding experience You have worked with coding agents enough to know how to orchestrate a task of any level. Sometimes you need to learn before you start building. Sometimes you need to plan. Sometimes prototype. There are many valid workflows and each is useful in different situations. You have enough experience to differentiate between them.

Pay
There is no salary band on this page because there really isn’t one. What you are paid is set by what you can actually do, agreed before you start, and revisited every six months. In the age of AI, a good developer can do a better job than 100 mediocre ones.
