Agentic Solutions Engineer

Location: Melbourne, Australia (Hybrid / Remote considered)

Team Size: 20 engineers (hardware, software, AI) + 3 commercial strategists

Role

This is a role combining hands-on development, solutions architecture, and strategy.

You will help design & build scalable solutions, integrate cloud-based AI pipelines, and architect interoperable systems that seamlessly connect our wearable devices with enterprise workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design autonomous multi-agent systems, workflow layers, long/short-term memory mechanisms, and structured tool usage via MCP (Model Context Protocol).
• Build retrieval-augmented generation pipelines using vector databases and integrate real-time inputs (vision, audio, sensors) for live decision-making.
• Build scalable services on Azure, optimize cost/latency, and build frontend applications, dashboards, and internal management tools using TypeScript and React.

Candidate Requirements

• Hands-on experience building autonomous agents, multi-agent workflows, tool-using LLM systems, and MCP (or equivalent tool interfaces).
• Practical experience constructing RAG pipelines, working with embeddings, and managing vector databases.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and React for building AI-driven web apps, alongside expertise in designing and consuming APIs.
• Experience deploying, scaling, and maintaining distributed AI systems on Azure with a focus on reliability and performance.

Nice to Have

• Industry experience in Industrial IoT, healthcare technology, wearable devices, or accessibility products.
• Experience with hybrid cloud/edge architectures and processing real-time vision, audio, or sensor streams.
• Hands-on background in building internal tooling for prompt management, AI evaluation, and monitoring.
