Agricultural Weather & Climate Analyst

Salary/Position Classification $26.87 hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime) Up to 20 hours per week 100% Remote Work Availability: No Hybrid Work Availability (requires some time on campus): Yes Purpose of Position Drs. Zhang and Marquis are looking for a post-bachelor-level student to help with analysis, reporting, and processing code development related to ongoing research related to weather and climate impacts on agricultural production in the Northern Great Plains region. Duties & Responsibilities Climate model downscaling, crop modeling and data assimilation, remote sensing, machine learning, and statistical analysis Required Competencies Analysis, reporting, and processing code development, critical thinking and problem solving, technology.
