AI Automation Engineer

This is a part-time, remote role for an AI Automation Engineer. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain an intelligent, multi-agent AI ecosystem to automate core business operations for BisChat.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will focus on orchestrating AI agents and automated workflows (via n8n / APIs) to handle internal office and administrative capabilities—including automated email response handling, billing and invoice monitoring, LinkedIn/Social Media interactions, and routine admin tasks. You will integrate modern LLMs (Gemini, OpenAI, Claude) with third-party SaaS tools, webhooks, and databases to build a self-sustaining operational engine under humane, human-in-the-loop oversight.

• Workflow Orchestration & Automation: Hands-on experience with n8n, Make.com, or similar workflow platforms to build complex business logic and agentic pipelines.
• API Integration & Webhooks: Strong proficiency in connecting REST APIs, webhooks, JSON parsing, and databases (e.g., Supabase, PostgreSQL) to automate data flow across platforms (Email, LinkedIn, Stripe, ClickUp/Notion).
• LLM & Agentic AI Systems: Deep understanding of modern LLM APIs (Gemini, GPT-4, Claude), function calling, system instructions, and RAG architectures for autonomous decision-making.
• Scripting & Custom Logic: Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript or Python for writing custom data transformations, API calls, and logic within automation nodes.
• Troubleshooting & Optimization: Strong analytical and debugging skills to diagnose failed workflow executions, manage rate limits, reduce token costs, and maintain system reliability.
• Social & Communication Automation: Familiarity with social media API integrations (LinkedIn, X, Meta) and email protocols (IMAP/SMTP/Gmail API) for automated scheduling and response drafting.
• Startup Mindset: Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced, early-stage environment with high initiative and clear communication.
